Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, and having attended the acclaimed HB Studios for Acting in New York City, Matthew’s twenty-year career includes starring or co-starring in over 80 television productions, 40 feature films, 60 national commercials and 100 theatre plays. Among his extensive acting credits, he has starred in the movies Killing Down, The Fragility of Seconds, Radiant and the soon-to-be-released Odd Man Out as well as co-starring in the Tom Hank’s produced Parkland with Billy Bob Thornton and Paul Giametti, Sicario with Emily Blunt and Josh Brolin, Living & Dying with Michael Madsen, Chasing Shakespeare with Danny Glover, Machete with Robert DeNiro, Missionary Man with Dolph Lundgren, Bad Asses with Danny Trejo and Danny Glover, Fire Down Below with Kevin Sorbo, and reoccurring roles on Prison Break¸ Walker Texas Ranger, Friday Night Lights and Wishbone. In theatre, he has won the Dallas Theatre Critics Forum Award for Best Actor seven times, and has been voted best actor twice by the Dallas Observer. Recent stage work includes Nelson Algren in the New York Times-lauded, Off-Broadway run of Transatlantic Liaison and Oberon in the Dallas theatrical event of the season for The Dallas Theater Center’s grand opening production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the new $80-million Wyly Theater in the new AT&T Performing Arts District in downtown Dallas, Texas.
As a producer through Wolfclan Productions, Matthew has produced the feature films Killing Down (distributed by Maverick Films), The Fragility of Seconds and Radiant (both distributed by Vanguard Cinema) as well as Odd Man Out (distributed by Indican Pictures) and Nightmare Box (distributed by IndustryWorks) slated for release in 2017. Matthew also produced, with Jon Keeyes, the award winning steampunk short film The Mechanical Grave (currently playing on the Shorts International cable station worldwide), and is currently starring in, and producing, the supernatural horror movie, The Harrowing.
